Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No its Chris Ashton scoring Again...

So we've had 2 rounds of the Six Nations to date. In those 2 rounds we have had the pleasure of witnessing 27 tries... (Yes 27, i was surprised too when I looked that up) anyhow, 10 of those have been scored by England, 6 of which belong to Chris Ashton.

Ashton has stolen the headlines in both games, scoring a brace against Wales and 4 tries against the Italians. He has a great work rate and has a good instinct for running support lines. Anywhere there seems to be a break made along the back-line, Ashton is on hand to finish off the job. He has been deadly for Northampton all season as I already pointed out in an earlier post. The point of this little post however is not to praise Ashton, it is to tear him to pieces... Just what the hell does he think he is doing when he swan dives over the line with the ball in one hand?

This celebration before the try has actually been scored is absolute nonsense. I don't care if he scores 10 tries in one match, if he drops that ball in mid-flight, he's f**ked! If there is any justice in the world, the gobshite will learn his lesson the hard way... Chris Ashton, (if your reading this), watch the video and learn something........

  1. He's a plonker! I found it hard to watch the disrepect that England showed Italy when showboating after their tries. Different if you score a last minute winner, but to rub it into the noses of the beaten Italians is ignorant. Hopefully the Bad Karma comes back to haunt 'em, sorry to our English neighbours and friends
