Rugby World Cup Quarter Final Prediction (IRE v WAL)

Ireland v. Wales

Firstly we can thank Ireland for beating Australia to shake up the knockout stages of the world cup. Their win means that the final will be contested by both hemispheres which can only be a good thing. On one side we've got The Six Nations best and on the other side we've got The Tri Nations along with Argentina... No disrespect to Scotland and Italy, well actually, major disrespect to Scotland and Italy but sure there you go!! They simply are not at the same standard as our final 8. Enough of the stuff we already know though, you came here for predictions and that my friend is what you are going to get.

Lets go over the facts...

1. Both Ireland and Wales appear to playing good rugby and both have gained serious momentum in doing so.
2. Wellington, the venue for the game will be wet,wet,wet...and this will suit Ireland (slightly)
3. Ireland have a better pack and have got bucket loads of experience when it comes to knockout rugby.
4. Gatland has decided to play Leigh Halfpenny at fullback instead of both Leigh Byrne and James Hook.
5. That is mental

I could go on about a number of different factors that seem to all swing Irelands way but I think at the end of the day it all boils down to this simple equation.....

Wales + all the luck in the world < Sean O'Brien... = Ireland win

Ireland will win tommorow morning... Expect the one of the Irish backrow to be named man of the match because they are world beaters at the minute. And heres my tip, Tommy Bowe should have had 2 tries last week, he's 4 behind Chris Ashton at the minute and 90/1 to be the tournament top tryscorer. I bet those odds will be slashed this time tommorow evening. Its surely worth a euro! Big up to Keith Earls too looking clinical as ever :-)

COME ON IRELAND......BELIEVE
